1. Benjamin Bulldog .457
Those seeking the most power possible are sure to be impressed by the Benjamin Bulldog .457. This PCP-powered bolt action side lever air rifle launches .457-caliber slugs at up to 760 feet per second (fps), delivering up to 450 foot pounds of energy (fpe).
In order to achieve this tremendous amount of firing power, the Bulldog .457 has a longer air cylinder (440cc reservoir) than the other Bulldog models (only a 330cc reservoir). However, with a bullpup length of just 36.28”, you’re not just getting the most powerful air rifle, but also a compact, high-powered air rifle that’s comfortable to carry and easy to maneuver.
In spite of its raw power, the Bulldog .457 is remarkably quiet, thanks to its baffle-less SoundTrap system. In other words, this dog’s bite is a whole lot bigger than its bark! The Bulldog also includes an M18-threaded muzzle adapter so you can customize it with a moderator for the ultimate in stealth shooting.
The Bulldog series comes fully loaded with other fantastic features, including a precision rifled steel Lothar Walther barrel, a reversible side lever for ambidextrous shooting, and a 26” Picatinny rail for mounting your preferred air gun accessories.

2. Benjamin Magnum Series Bulldog M357
The Benjamin Bulldog M357 is an updated version of our original Bulldog .357. This high-powered air rifle is slightly smaller and lighter than the .457 model, but it still packs a major punch, firing .357-caliber slugs at 1135 fps, delivering up to 300 fpe (compared to the original Bulldog 357l’s 180-200 fpe).
While judging the most powerful air rifle is typically based on fpe, it’s worth noting that the M357’s faster velocity makes it a strong contender. You can’t go wrong with our Bulldog Series—the decision mainly comes down to whether you prefer a higher caliber or a higher velocity.
3. Benjamin Magnum Series Bulldog M257
The Benjamin Bulldog M257 is set to be unleashed in the summer of 2023. It’s a great option for those who appreciate power, but don’t need something quite as heavy hitting as the Bulldog .457 or M357.
The M257 will be one of the most powerful air rifle options out there, launching .257-caliber slugs up to 1050 fps, delivering up to 150 fpe.
